You are cordially invited to join the talk to be delivered by Prof. Yuxing CHEN at 16:00 - 17:30 on November 4, 2021.  In this talk, Prof. Chen will present the latest advancements in the structure and function of pathogenic bacteria resistance-related membrane proteins.

We look forward to your participation!

Topic: Structural Insights into the Enterohepatic Circulation of Bile Acids

Speaker: Prof. Yuxing CHEN

Date: November 4, 2021

Time: 16:00 – 17:30

Venue: TD103

About the Speaker

Yuxing CHEN is Professor in the School of Life and Science at the University of Science and Technology of China in charge of the Institute of Structural Biochemistry at the same university. After obtaining her PhD degree from the French National Centre for Scientific Research, she has served as a Principal Investigator at Hefei National Laboratory for Physical Sciences at the Microscale. The research topics include the structure and molecular mechanism of the interaction between pathogenic bacteria surface virulence factors and the host, and the structure and function of human membrane proteins related to human diseases. Prof. Chen has been working on a wide range of major scientific projects supported by a number of programs including National Natural Science Foundation of China, 973 Program and Shanghai Pujiang Program. She was also honored as a " New Century Excellent Talent " by the University of Ministry of Education of China.
